Bassam Bulbanat is Consultant of Cardiology (echocardiography specialist) at the Sabah Al Ahmad Cardiac Center, Ministry of health, Kuwait. During his academic career he has contributed to several international journal publications. He is the program director of the Adult Cardiology Fellowship Program affiliated with KIMS.

Dr. Peter J. Lansberg is a lipidologist and senior staff member at the Department of Vascular Medicine, Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Dr. Lansberg obtained his Bachelor, Master and Doctor of Medicine degrees from University of Amsterdam (UvA). He returned to Academic Medical Center (AMC) where he worked on his doctoral thesis “The Molecular Basis and Treatment of Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH)” at the department of vascular Medicine under the supervision of prof. John Kastelein and prof. Jan Wouter ten Cate.

He established and supervised the Amsterdam Lipid Clinic in the Slotervaart medical center in Amsterdam and during the 1990ies he co-­‐founded, in collaboration with Prof. Kastelein, the Dutch Lipid Clinic Network, a national alliance of Dutch academic and general hospitals. For this network he conceived and promoted the Dutch Lipid Clinic Diagnostic Criteria for FH.

Dr. Lansberg is the founder and former director of the successful Dutch National FH Cascade Screening program conducted by the “Stichting Opsporing Erfelijke Hypercholesterolemie” (StOEH). Based on this experience he supported similar initiatives in Europe, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and shared his experience and expertise, building and managing the Dutch screening program.

Dr. Hani Sabbour is a Consultant in Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension, and Cardiac Electrophysiology at Mediclinic Abu Dhabi, UAE. He also serves as an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at Brown University's Alpert Medical School in Rhode Island, USA.

Dr. Sabbour holds six American Board certifications, including Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Advanced Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension, and Cardiac Electrophysiology. Additionally, he is board-certified in comprehensive echocardiography (ASE) and nuclear cardiology (ASNC/CBNC).

Dr. Sabbour is the lead author of the UAE Pulmonary Hypertension Guidelines and established the country’s first Pulmonary Hypertension registry and center of excellence in 2014. He also co-authored the UAE Cardiometabolic Guidelines and is a founding member of the Cardiac Amyloidosis Working Group in the Gulf and Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Yaser Mustafa Ghadanfar is a Consultant in Adult Rheumatology, Clinical Immunology, and Allergy at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital in Kuwait. He graduated from the University of Toronto and holds Canadian board certifications in Internal Medicine, Adult Rheumatology, and Clinical Immunology & Allergy. Additionally, he is certified by the American Board in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.

Dr. Ghadanfar is an active researcher with numerous publications in both rheumatology and allergy fields. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and the American College of Physicians (ACP).
